What is a guide value and how can I calculate it?

A guide value is an alternative method of appraisal according to the Valuation Act and the Valuation Decree that can be used instead of an expert appraisal for the declaration of real estate acquisition tax. The advantage is that it is not accounted in its entirety, but only 75% of this guide value and it can be calculated by everyone.

I recommend you to use it only in the case of a housing unit, a non-residential unit or only a land. In other cases, I recommend you to use an expert or an appraiser with a regulated trade, who will calculate the guide value for you.

Our agency will calculate the guide value for the clients who used our services to mediate the sale of their real estate and we will also declare the real estate acquisition tax - free of charge (or see the price list for real estate appraisal).
